Terms of Service
To book a henna experiences with The Henna Peacock, you must agree to the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Covid Policies:
We firmly believe that safety comes first, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, so we have a few rules in place to minimise the risk and spread of covid and other viruses and harmful bacteria. We ask that you wear a mask on arrival (unless you are exempt- please let us know immediately about exemptions. Please note that you may be asked what your exemption is. Not liking or agreeing with masks is NOT an exemption), and sanitise or wash your hands on arrival- We have sanitiser, and a sink that you can use.
Your artist will sanitise between clients and the boutique is sanitised between bookings. Henna cones are only used on one client before being discarded (they are fully compostable and are put in our compost bin).
Your failure to follow our safety procedures so may result in your appointment being cancelled or terminated and no refund will be given.
Timeliness & Tardiness
Tardiness | Clients should be prompt in arriving at the scheduled time. Clients who arrive late or are unable to begin on time will not be guaranteed full service, and the client will remain responsible for all fees as outlined in this agreement. If you are running behind, please let us know as soon as possible at 01884 35844. Arrivals over ten minutes late without any communication will be determined to be no shows. While we are happy to accommodate late arrivals when scheduling allows for it, please note that you are only be entitled to the time allocated at the time of booking.
Reschedules | We understand that things may come up, and will allow for any individual session to be rescheduled a single time without requiring a new booking. If you find that you must reschedule your appointment for any reason, it is requested that it be made known as soon as possible as the time may be made available for other clients. We appreciate your cooperation. Rescheduled sessions must be within 90 calendar days of the initial booking.
Cancellations | All cancellation requests must be received by 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Appointments cancelled prior to this time will not be charged any further fees or costs, and any payment received in excess of the booking fee will be returned. Cancellation requests received within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will not be refunded.
Payment Requirements
Booking Fees- Events at your location |A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your booking when booked over three days in advance. Services reserved within 30 hours of the event date must be paid in full upon booking. The booking fee secures your the presence of The Henna Peacock at your appointment. Please note that if this fee is not paid, then your appointment is not secure and may be double booked. Booking fees are applied to the total balance due for services. The balance of all services rendered is due to be paid by 30 days prior to the date of service. Gratuities are not included in the pricing provided.
Booking Fees- At our boutique |A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your booking when booked over three days in advance. Services reserved within 30 hours of the event date must be paid in full upon booking. The booking fee secures your the presence of The Henna Peacock at your appointment. Please note that if this fee is not paid, then your appointment is not secure and may be double booked. Booking fees are applied to the total balance due for services. The balance of all services rendered is due to be paid at the beginning of the appointment, before service. Gratuities are not included in the pricing provided.
Completion of Payment- Events | Please note that all amounts agreed upon in the service agreement are required to be paid by 48 hours prior to the date of service when booked in advance. An invoice will be sent to you with the appropriate final due date, and can be paid at your leisure up until that date. Appointments booked within 48 hours of the date of service require upfront payment in full. Any changes on the day of service will be paid at time of service. Client agrees to complete all payments as outlined in the provided payment schedule
Completion of Payment- Boutique Appointments | A 50% non-refundable booking fee is to be paid upon booking. The remaining fee must be paid upon arrival before application of henna. Client agrees to complete all payments as outlined in the provided payment schedule.
